Business Decorating Challenge
Get your business involved in the 43rd Annual Sea Cavalcade celebration
The Sea Cavalcade Committee is holding a Business & Window Challenge Display Competition for the businesses of the Sunshine Coast. The contest is open to all businesses, with categories of awards being offered to Large, Medium and Small Business.
The winner will be selected from contestants who actively sign up to participate in the contest. Competition entry is $25.00 and interested business owners or managers can register to participate by filling out the entry form and returning it to Monica Schmidt, our coordinator. Reviewing (Judging) of contestants' window displays will take place July 21st, 2011 by a panel of three judges.

Visitors and Residents are encouraged to visit any time between July 18th to 21st, 2011 to vote online on this website for a business that they feel has the best business and window display on the Sunshine Coast.
The winner will be selected on the basis of the most votes received, along with the Sea Cavalcade Committee panel of judges.
About the Judging:
The judging criteria for the Business Decorating Challenge and Window Display award includes aesthetics (use of colour, proportion, visual appeal), relevance to products/services, originality, and use of space, staff apparel, participation, lighting and this year's Sea Cavalcade theme “TREASURES OF THE SEA”.
If your business is interested in participating in the Business Decorating Challenge and Window Display for this year's festival, please complete the entry form and return it to Monica. Additional entry forms will be available at the Prudential Sussex Realty Gibsons and Sechelt Office, the Town of Gibsons Hall, Talbot Insurance, Sunshine Coast Credit Union or by contacting Monica at 604-740-2153.
Completed entry forms must be received by Friday July 15th. Displays should be ready by Monday July 18th.

Judging will take place on Thursday July 21st, 2011.
Awards will be presented for first, second, and third places to display in your business.

1:30pm at Brothers Park on July 23rd, 2011
