Business Decorating Challenge
Get your business involved in the 46th Annual Sea Cavalcade celebration
The Sea Cavalcade Committee is holding a Business & Window Challenge Display Competition for the businesses of the Sunshine Coast. The contest is open to all businesses, with categories of awards being offered to Large, Medium and Small Business.
The winner will be selected from contestants who actively sign up to participate in the contest. Competition entry is $25.00 and interested business owners or managers can register to participate by filling out the entry form (PDF) and returning it to Conchita Harding or Ann Tasker, our coordinators. Reviewing (Judging) of contestants' window displays will be undertaken by a panel of three judges.
Visitors and Residents are encouraged to visit any time between July 21st to 25th, 2014 to vote online on this website for a business that they feel has the best business and window display on the Sunshine Coast.
The winner will be selected on the basis of the most votes received, along with the Sea Cavalcade Committee panel of judges.

About the Judging:
The judging criteria for the Business Decorating Challenge and Window Display award includes aesthetics (use of colour, proportion, visual appeal), relevance to products/services, originality, and use of space, staff apparel participation, lighting and this year's Sea Cavalcade theme Fiesta by the Sea.
If your business is interested in participating in the Business Decorating Challenge and Window Display for this year's festival, please complete the entry form (PDF) and return it to Suzanne.
Completed entry forms must be received by Wednesday July 23rd. Displays should be ready by Monday July 21st.
Every year, we hear about someone who missed this opportunity — don't let that be YOU! Even if it is just for the fun of it, register and participate by decorating your business.
Judging will take place on Thursday July 24th, 2014, during business hours.
Awards will be presented for first, second, and third places to display in your business.
Awards presentations will take place:
2:00pm at Family Day (Winegarden Park, Gibsons Landing) on July 26th, 2014
