- Sea Cavalcade 2010 Festival Meeting — Every Monday in the Banquet room @ Cedars Inn, Gibsons at 7:00pm — Come along and see how you can help with this year's Sea Cavalcade.
This event could not take place without the enthusiasm, energy and hard work of more than 150 volunteers who arrange the setting up and cleaning up, parade marshalling, traffic control, ticket sales, salmon barbecue, loggers' sports, fireworks, merchants' displays and family activities.
In addition, volunteers do the paperwork, organize events and take care of the finances. There is an opportunity for anyone who would like to volunteer. For further information on volunteering or sponsorship of events, please email or call Alex Grant at 604-865-0662.
Parade Marshall Nomination
Criteria: A person who has contributed to the enhancement of quality of life on the Sunshine Coast through, volunteerism, good mentorship, leadership and hard worker.
- 10 or more years living on the Sunshine Coast
- Who has helped to make the Sunshine Coast a wonderful place to live
