Sea Cavalcade Mile Run + info

Mile Run

Just before the parade, the highway is clear of cars and hundreds of spectators are ready to cheer: the perfect setting for a road mile! Join 100+ runners of all ages and abilities on a fast net downhill course with no turns. Post-run refreshments. Cash prizes to 1st male and female. Age group awards from 9 & Under to 70+. 250 painted rocks will be hidden in Gibsons Landing. The bottom of each rock will have the word of a virtue painted on it such as kindness, joy, honesty, peace, etc. In addition, some of the rocks will have the word 'winner' or 'prize' written on them which can be brought to the booth on Gower Point Road for a prize. This event is sponsored by the Baha'i Community.

Learn what it would be like to live and work in Gibsons in the 1890's, 1920's and 1950's. To register please call the Museum at 604-886-8262. Admission by donation.
Starting in front of the George Gibson statue (across from Molly's Reach), the walk will head over to Dr. Inglis place, by the Persephone, down the wharf and back up underneath it along by the Oyster place to Winegarden Park and finishing at the Museum.

CTK Community Church has met in Gibsons Landing for over 8 years! We love the town of Gibsons and thought a way to show our heart for the community was to provide a great event for all ages.
Come and enjoy a picnic style dinner for the whole family. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, have dinner and take in the Sunday night Sea Cavalcade festivities in the Landing.
1500 free tickets available at the Pig Roast ticket booth in Gibsons Landing all day July 25–26. Ticket holders will receive priority Sunday night.
